This is one of the best Headsets I have owned so far in my gaming history.
Not only does it work with Mac & PC without Extra Setup (thanks to the separate dongle), but it also works incredibly well with the PS3.
It is VERY comfortable, has a great range, batteries that last for at least 6-8 hours of constant gaming and can be recharged by a simple USB cable. No AC Adapter needed!
And the Sound is amazing. Really. Despite the fact that it offers 7.1 Surround (which rocks with BF3 for example), the Stereo Sound is also awesome. Deep & Full Basses, great & warm Presence and no Distortion whatsoever, no matter how loud you crank it!
Another very nice fact is the Control on the Chassis to change your Audio / Voice Chat Mix, which helps you to easily adapt to your games.
Overall this Headset has a great Sound, a clever and intuitive Design (Audio / Voice Mixer, Volume Mixer, Mic mute / un-mute Button, Surround Sound enable / disable Button) and is very comfortable.
The only "quirky" thing about it might be the Microphone, which is a little "fidgy" while the rest of the headset is solid, but since you can retract it into the main chassis, I don't see any drawback there.
Average price is $100 which is a very fair price for an awesome headset! 1 rok |
